Youth center Nuokkari
The Nuokkari Youth Centre is a meeting place for young people, open regularly for different age groups. The open activities of the Youth Centre are carried out by a variety of youth professionals. The non-urgent and present presence of growth professionals helps to create the right conditions for young people to develop trust in adults, which is the basis of youth work. Trust enables a genuine encounter between young people and adults.
In the youth center, it is possible to play games, do crafts, cook and spend time together. The Nuokkari has PlayStation 5 and 4 game consoles, as well as VR glasses and a steering wheel and pedals for racing games. There’s a wide range of video games and games for all ages, in line with age recommendations. There is also a large selection of board games and a ping-pong table and two pool tables.
During opening hours, you can come to Nuokkari on your own or with a friend or group of friends, subject to the age limits indicated. The staff will be on hand to meet you in the youth room. The Youth Centre is always free of charge for everyone. You can always suggest activities, games, etc. to the staff!

The rules of Nuokkari:
- Shoes and outdoor clothing are to be left in the hallway coat rack.
- Possession and use of intoxicants is prohibited in all our activities. Our yard is also smoke-free.
- Energy drinks are prohibited.
- Respect other young people and their property. No bullying of any kind.
- If you damage the property of a youth club you are obliged to pay for it.
