Employment services
The city of Laitila’s employment services aim to improve employment in Laitila. The work is carried out in cooperation with companies, educational institutions and various service organisations.
The city of Laitila is participating in the municipal employment experiment and for some of the residents of Laitila this means employment services in their own locality instead of the TE Office. The municipal employment experiment started in 2021 and will end in 2024. The transition to the municipal experiment is automatic. The transition will not entail any changes to unemployment protection and will not impose any additional obligations on the customer. Municipal trial clients will continue to be clients of municipalities until the permanent transfer of services to municipalities in 2025.
