Vakka-Finland Music College

The Vakka-Finland Music College was founded in 1970 and is a music school maintained by the City of Laitila, which is covered by a statutory state contribution and provides basic arts education according to a broad syllabus.

In addition to Laitila, the municipalities of Kustavi, Pyhäranta, Taivassalo, Vehmaa and the city of Uusikaupunki are also included in the area of operation.

The aim of the education provided at the Music College is to develop pupils’ skills in creative and versatile music making and performance, as well as in professional studies in the field. The Music College aims to preserve and develop the national music culture and to promote cooperation with other actors in the field and in the region.
